The MOMS study is a NIH funded R01 study (1R01NR008926-01A1) on menopausal symptoms among multiethnic groups of midlife women in the U.S.

The study uses innovative Internet data collection methods to collect national data and essential information about specific ethnic differences in menopausal symptom experience while respecting women's own experiences.

The study will contribute to health care planning from women's own perspectives and help develop decision support systems for menopausal symptom management.

Ultimately, the study aims at eliminating ethnic biases and inequity in menopausal symptom management and promoting culturally competent care for menopausal women.
